Pembroke Secondary School is a co-ed school situated in the Northern Region of Malta. It serves the educational needs of 13 to 16 year olds residing in San Gwann, Pembroke, Swieqi, Gzira and St Julian’s areas.
Pembroke School is a comprehensive three-year Secondary School enrolling 388 students in Years 9, 10 and 11. The academic programme followed consists of Mathematics, English, Maltese, Geography, Social Studies, History, Religion/Ethics, Physical Education, Physics , ICT, Personal and Social Development, a foreign language which students start following in year 7 and 2 option subjects.
Our school building has a rich and varied history. It took over two years to build and has served various purposes to both the English Army and to the Maltese Government which reflect the transition from an insular inward-looking society to a more open outward looking one.
